AUTOMATION CUBE ONE

The HAIMER Automation Cube One is a high-performance automation cell for tool preparation that shrinks, presets and measures tools in the range of Ø 3 ‒ 32 mm. With high length repeatability and the innovative HAIMER Power Clamp technology, it ensures precise results. An integrated automated guided vehicle system (AGV) optimises transport between the cell and the machine tool. The Automation Cube One is designed for 24/7 operation and thus increases your productivity to a new level.

PROCESS HAIMER AUTOMATION CUBE ONE:

• Used tool assembly (i.e. tool holder + cutting tool) is placed on conveyor belt and new tool is provided
• Gripping of used tool assembly by robot
• Identification of tool assembly via unique Data Matrix code (RFID on option)
• Gripping of new cutting tool
• Cutting edge of new cutting tool is measured and simultaneous move down of inductive coil on used tool assembly
• Unshrinking of used cutting tool and inserting of new cutting tool with required overhang
• Positioning of used tool and regenerated tool assembly on conveyor belt
• Cyclone cooling of the new total tool assembly
• Measurement of the total tool assembly
