Power Mini Shrink Chuck extra slim is perfect for 5-axis-machining in the die & mould and in the medical industry. Very slim at the top like the HAIMER Mini Shrink Chucks extra slim, the Power Mini Shrink Chuck extra slim is reinforced at the base. This allows for efficient milling with an angled tool, even at long protruding lengths.

  • Extra slim (1,5 mm wall thickness)
  • 3° slope at the top
  • For solid carbide tools with shank tolerance h6
  • With threaded holes in order to balance with balancing screws
HAIMER TIP
For a constant and acurate cooling of the cutting tool we recommend the option: cooling slits in the clamping bore of the tool holder (on request). Attention: Heating and cooling sleeves are needed when shrinking on most shrink fit machines (see accessories). However, when using the Power Clamp i4.0 Sprint/Air or Nano machines with the motorised coil and scanner, sleeves are not necessary.

  • 2. Extreme clamping torque by high pressing in the clamping bore
  • 3. Very slim design with 3° contour – for jobs difficult to access
  • 4. Low tendency towards vibrations due to optimized outer contour

  • 6. Standard with 3 mm wall thickness and extra slim with 1,5 mm wall thickness
